Bhaskar Panigrahi

Bhaskar has a rich experience of more than 25 years as a serial entrepreneur Bhaskar has an extensive experience in setting up, building, formulating corporate strategy and direction for various successful organizations.. He is currently Chairman of ConnectM Technology Solutions and Cambridge Energy Resources . He is also a General Partner in Avanti Holdings, Cambridge Energy Holdings, and Southwood Partners.

Bhaskar was co-founder and Chairman of Cambridge Technology Enterprises, global business and technology Services Company specializing in enterprise transformation and modernization services. Bhaskar led a successful IPO of Cambridge Technology Enterprises on both Bombay and National Stock Exchange in India. Under his leadership during five years, Cambridge Technology had grown at 100% CAGR. Prior to Cambridge Technology Enterprises,. Bhaskar also served as CEO of CellExchange, an enterprise systems developer to Government enterprises and a Washington Technology Fast 50 company. Before that, he served as the CEO of Unique Computing Solutions and e-Solutions Integrator, Internet technology and services firms. Unique Computing was named twice on Inc. 500 List of fastest growing private companies, Deloitte Regional Fast 50 and National Fast 500 rosters. He promoted many other technology companies: 1Efficiency (Energy Monitor in Commercial Buildings), Mascot Networks (product and solutions provider in education space) and Trading Research Design (financial risk management solution provider).

Bhaskar holds a BS in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Suratkal, India. Besides his entrepreneurial interests, he enjoys golf, keenly follows cricket and loves social networking.


Gaugarin Oliver

Gaugarin Oliver is a successful serial entrepreneur, startup mentor, and angel investor. His twenty-eight years of experience includes acquisitions of his companies by large corporations and launching new business initiatives within large corporations. His current company CapeStart helps early-stage companies with offshore product development services and has successfully launched numerous products. He is also the co-founder of FullIntel (business intelligence for executives) and serves as an advisor and board member at several startups and nonprofits. He previously sold MyMediaInfo to Thomson Reuters and then was a key player in a $390 million M&A transaction between two large corporations (NASDAQ and Thomson Reuters). He served in senior executive roles at both Thomson Reuters and NASDAQ. In addition, he was Vice President at Cymfony (now part of Cision) a leading media intelligence platform using natural language processing technology.

His other startup experiences include Mobixell (wireless multimedia), Lojalis (mobile loyalty), UltiVerse (mobile messaging) and Voice Control Systems (speech recognition). He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Government College of Technology in India, MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and executive education from Harvard Business School.

Satish Tadikonda

Dr. Satish Tadikonda is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer and is a Board of Director of Virtify, a market leader in structured content management for the life sciences industry. With over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry, Satish’s expertise spans drug and medical device development, and software systems development. Prior to Virtify, Satish was the founder of Tribiosys, Inc., a Cambridge, MA-based scientific consulting company. Prior to Tribiosys, he was the Founder, CEO and President of Enmed, Inc., a clinical trial and data management systems development company. Earlier in his career, Satish held senior positions at EPIX Medical, Inc. and at Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group.

Satish holds a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India. He has published and presented more than 30 articles in peer- reviewed journals and international conferences on topics in global labeling, medical imaging, clinical trial data management/disclosure, and technology in the life sciences. Satish is also a member of the Board of Directors of NuView Inc., and TiE-Boston, and serves on the Advisory Board of AlephCloud. He is an Executive Partner of Blue Cloud Ventures, a fund focused on investing in in fast growing SaaS, PaaS and enterprise application and infrastructure software companies. Satish is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs and is an active member of the TiE Angel Network. In addition to his professional pursuits, Satish is an avid golfer, a college football fan and enjoys the arts. He is also a co-owner of the Transcend Art Gallery located in Hyderabad, India.


Neeraj Chandra

Raymond Chang

Raymond is a serial entrepreneur and the managing director of NXT Ventures, an early-staged investment fund based in Boston. He is also a Lecturer in the Practice of Entrepreneurship at the Yale School of Management, and an Adjunct Professor in Entrepreneurship at Babson College. 

Raymond founded GigaMedia, the first broadband internet company in Asia. In 1999, GigaMedia received US$35mm strategic investment from Microsoft, and in 2000, the Company went public on NASDAQ and raised US$280mm, one of the largest IPOs for Internet company prior to 2000. In 2007, Raymond founded Luckypai, a leading TV shopping company in China and raised venture financing from Lightspeed Venture Partners, DT Capital, Intel, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs. In 2010, Luckypai was sold to Lotte Home Shopping for US$160mm. From 2012-2013, Raymond served as the CEO of New Focus Auto, the largest automobile after-sales service company dual-listed on Hong Kong & Taiwan exchanges, (US$1 Billion in market cap). In 2013, Raymond completed a US$160mm investment from CDH Capital, a leading Chinese private equity fund. In 2000, Raymond was selected by FORTUNE as one of the twenty-five Next Generation Global Leaders Under 40, (5/2001), and by BUSINESS WEEK Asia as one of Asia’s 20 most influential new economy leaders in the 21st century, (7/2000). He was also featured as a panel speaker at World Economic Forum in Zurich, Switzerland in 2005. 

Raymond also participates in various social, charity, educational, and Christian faith organizations. He Co-founded Shanghai West International Fellowship, was the Former Treasurer/Elected Board Member of Shanghai American School, and a member of Young President’s Organization-Shanghai. He is a member of Launchpad Venture Group, Hub Angels, CEVG, and a mentor at Techstars Boston. He also serves on the Board of The Skating Club of Boston. Raymond received his BA from NYU, MBA from Yale, and MPA from Harvard JFK School of Government.


Barry Turkanis

Barry currently is the co-founder of Ocean Gate Capital Management, an investment management firm founded in 2004, and Ocean Gate Venture Capital, a private equity and emerging company investment firm. In addition, he is a principal at Ocean Gate Realty Advisors, a private equity real estate platform.

Barry joined Salomon Brothers in 1982 as an institutional salesperson. In 1988, he moved to Goldman, Sachs & Co. for 15+ years until he retired as a Managing Director in June 2004. While at Goldman Sachs, he served as the Global Sales Manager for Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage Securities Department and Co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage Sales and Trading Division. His responsibilities included oversight of trading, risk management, sales, research, structured finance and compliance for the department. In addition, he co-managed a large institutional Life Settlement Fund from 2007-2011. He also serves as a director at Ionetix Corporation, which is engaged in the commercialization of proprietary compact superconducting cyclotron technology in the Medical Imaging, Active Interrogation and other medical and industrial applications.

Barry holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. from Syracuse University. He currently serves on a variety of charitable boards and foundations in the Boston area.
